For many women, living with endometriosis or chronic pelvic pain means years of being told that discomfort is something to manage, suppress, or simply endure. Yet the body is not random in its suffering. Pain is rarely meaningless. More often, it is a form of communication — a language inviting us to listen more deeply.

In this episode of All About Soul, I sat down with hypnotherapist and spiritual healer Jennifer Schlueter to explore endometriosis through a holistic lens, one that honors the womb not only as a physical organ, but as a center of emotional, creative, and ancestral power.

What Is Womb Healing?

Womb healing is a holistic approach to women’s health. Rather than focusing solely on physical symptoms, womb healing explores how unresolved trauma, suppressed emotions, and generational experiences can manifest in conditions such as infertility, PCOS, endometriosis or fibroids. Womb healing is a process of embodiment, awareness, and reconnection.

This perspective does not dismiss medical care. Instead, it expands the conversation by asking what the body may be holding — and why.

Endometriosis Beyond the Physical Body

In the conversation with Jennifer, a clear theme emerges: endometriosis is often linked to more than tissue or hormones alone. Many women experiencing this condition share patterns of over-functioning, people-pleasing, emotional suppression, and a deep disconnection from rest, pleasure, and creativity.

Rather than seeing the body as broken, this approach invites curiosity. What if the pain is not the enemy, but a signal? A request for attention, compassion, and change?

When emotions are consistently unexpressed, the body often becomes the messenger.

How Are Endometriosis and Ancestral Healing Connected?

Ancestral healing is the heart of our conversation. Jennifer shares that many women with endometriosis carry imprints from their maternal lineage — stories of betrayal, silencing, suppression, or grief that were never fully processed.

Endometriosis and ancestral healing are often connected through patterns stored in the body, including:

  • Suppressing our feminine side
  • Trauma we inherit from our mother and her ancestors
  • Emotional pain carried across generations
  • Disconnect from joy and creativity
  • The mistaken belief that we always have to be “on” and productive

The womb becomes a place where these stories live until we acknowledge them.

Feminine Cycles, Rest, and the Cost of Pushing Through

Another important insight from the episode is the mismatch between modern life and women’s natural rhythms. While society operates on a 24-hour, productivity-driven cycle, women move through a 28-day hormonal and energetic cycle.

Menstruation is a time for rest, inward focus, and regeneration. Constantly pushing through exhaustion, pain, or emotional heaviness — especially during the menstrual phase — can deepen imbalance, particularly for inflammatory conditions like endometriosis.

Rest is not weakness. It is a form of intelligence the body has always known.

How Does Womb Healing Help Women With Endometriosis?

Womb healing helps women with endometriosis by shifting their relationship with the body from control to gentle cooperation. Rather than fighting symptoms, we learn to listen.

This process may include:

  1. Developing awareness of the body’s emotional signals
  2. Addressing ancestral and generational trauma stored in the womb
  3. Supporting the nervous system through embodiment and breath
  4. Reconnecting with feminine cycles, creativity, and rest

Modalities such as hypnotherapy, breathwork, EFT, and family constellations help create space for the body to release what it no longer needs to carry.

Listening to the Womb, Listening to the Body

Our body does not speak because karma is out to punish us. It speaks to guide us back into alignment. Endometriosis, from this perspective, is not a failure of the body, but an invitation — to slow down, to listen, and to heal at a deeper level.

Womb healing does not replace medical care, but it offers a complementary path that honors the body, ancestral healing, and the wisdom already living within women experiencing endometriosis.

Transformation for Body and Soul

Interested in working with me? In our work together, I guide you into a process that is going to speak directly to your subconscious mind. In our sessions, we enter a relaxed and focused state, connecting to deeper parts of your being. From there, we are able to address the mental and energetic blocks as they come up, speak directly to them and with them — and transform their energy.
